Maverick 86 C

The 26/27 Atomic Maverick 86 C is a lighter, more accessible all-mountain ski aimed at advanced intermediates and skiers looking for a forgiving daily driver with real carving ability. It uses a Carbon Backbone construction instead of full CTI for a softer, easier-going feel than its wider brothers. The C in 86 C stands for the Carbon Backbone construction, a lighter and more forgiving build than the full CTI layup found in the rest of the Maverick line. It delivers enough torsional stiffness for good edge hold without the heavy, demanding feel of a full titanal ski. The HRZN 3D tip helps this ski feel planted in variable snow, shedding crud and keeping the ski on track. The rocker profile is more camber-dominant, so you get real carving performance on groomers without the ski feeling too locked in. Dura Cap sidewalls and Dura Edge give you solid durability, and the factory tune is ready to ski out of the shop.
